I’m Dr. Alfano, one of the pioneers in Diet and Lifestyle and “Alternative Medicine”. I was extremely successful with my Delayed Food Allergy Testing, Detoxification, and Targeted Nutritional Supplementation –very few drugs. So much so that Big Pharma wrote me an advisory stating that my radio show was considered “unethical”.
I don’t know what their definition of unethical is.
A physician, who tries to avoid prescribing for the symptoms and looks for the cause, is rather commendable to me!
It’s the only kind of doctor I want for myself. (I don’t care for opinions either. I come from a family of lawyers and I want EVIDENCE by blood test analysis.)
Of course I ignored them but they couldn’t stop, they were losing too much money! They couldn’t stop me either.
I went on to study Bio-Oxidation in Zurich and in Munich.
I witnessed miracles with Ozone and Hydrogen Peroxide.
I saw Diabetic ulcers heal completely-no need to amputate. Aids patients were surviving longer. All types of infections, viral and otherwise, wiped out!
I came back home thinking I’d buy the equipment immediately. Several days later I read that a Doctor was jailed for using Ozone in North or South Dakota- somewhere outside of my New York confines.
My two children were very young in those days, and jail time was out of the question, even though I truly loved my patients.
So that I would be totally legitimate, I joined a research program with the FDA. Charles Farr, MD a Nobel Prize nominee for his outstanding work with the Ebola virus in Zaire was running the program.
The FDA couldn’t give their usual thumbs down on non-pharmaceutical remedies. We were both on the same side looking for the Truth and some statistics.
It went nowhere. They certainly made it difficult. I’ll save that for another article.
So here’s the Flu issue. I can’t make the decision for you. Should you have the vaccine coming up in October? (During the Nixon administration there was considerable controversy during that “Swine Flu” outbreak. Google it and you’ll see what I mean)
Diabetics,young children with respiratory problems, and compromised Immune systems need individual consultation with their physicians. The web is not your doctor.
I know it’s a difficult decision. You are saying “If I deprive my parents and my children and something happens I won’t be able to live with myself.”

'U.S. health officials say swine flu could strike up to 40% of Americans over the next two years and as many as several hundred thousand could die."
So declares an Associated Press article, the writer of which you can picture trying to catch his breath as he pounds away at the keyboard. In its exclusive revelation of unpublished figures, AP says: "Those estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mean about twice the number of people who usually get sick in a normal flu season would be struck by swine flu."
No, they don't. The CDC's influenza Web site shows they're essentially the same.
Welcome to the wonderful world of swine flu hysteria, in which health agencies — be it the World Health Organization (which declared a worldwide pandemic with just 244 deaths) or the CDC — can tell any scary story they want with the assurance that the mainstream media will never challenge them. That includes pointing to a piglet and proclaiming it to be a wild, raging boar.
It seems that to ask a journalist at the nation's largest wire service to merely spend a few minutes on a single Web site or even to simply ponder what he's just typed is to ask too much.
Thus, the CDC's influenza Web site states that "on average 5% to 20% of the population" will contract flu each year which, save for the hapless souls who contract it two seasons in a row, would be the same as "up to 40% of Americans over the next two years."
